DESIGNS LIKE OURS. We design our oun unique items and they are
handmade by me. All our materials are real and gathered
in the woods and along creeks and rivers.
This table is an oblong pedestal table with 4 legs off
of the pedestal
. The size is approx. 28"T x 18"D x 24"L.It is made very strong and sturdy and made to be very
hard to tip over.
It has a mountain cabin scene on top using many different
kinds and colors of twigs. It is divided by
the twig geometric design. It has a skirt of twigs all
around the top and a root and pebble design in the front.
Sounds simple but it is not. It is a ton of work all the way
from designing it, to finding and gathering the right
materials for it, scrubbing and preparing it, to selecting
the right diameter, so everything will be flat and smooth,
and making each piece fit into the design snugly. Sometimes
a piece may take several diagonal cuts to get it to fit perfectly,
to finishing it. Each small piece can be handled 20 times each
through this process. Then the sandings and finishings take
usually 4 times each, on an item like this,
before we can call it done. We sell these occasionally.
